Evaluating Kindergarten Teachers Perspectives About The...

CHAPTER 5 DISCUSSION The purpose of this study was to examine Kindergarten teachers’ perspectives about the practice of effective computer technology procedures and its incorporation into their current pedagogical practices. Study Implications The findings for hypothesis 1 were not reinforced by conducting the linear regression. There were numerous factors that contributed to this result. Primarily, the sum of participants hindered the researcher’s capacity to truly assemble a statistical evaluation for a linear regression. A major area of interest, concerning this study, was finding and selecting a sample size that could be considered considerable along with being sufficient so that it will be characteristic of the populace from which it comes. Therefore, the researcher could center and make strong implications about the issue of study. It can be adequately implied, for future reference, that the sample size should be large enough so that central variances can be found in subgroups. By simply having a small sample size, it did not contribute to effectually conducting a linear regression. In addition to the sample size, there was a postulation that the linearity would suggest that teachers who are new to the field would allow for a pattern to emerge. However, that was not the case in this study. By containing such a small sample size of teachers with experience in the field of education within the past 5 years, it refuted the capability to essentially run theShow MoreRelatedLibrary Management204752 Words   |  820 Pages . . . . . . . 16 . . . . . . . 17 2—The Evolution of Management Thought . . . . . . . . . . . 19 Management in Ancient History . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 20 The Effects of the Industrial Age on Management . . . . . 22 Classical Perspectives . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 22 Scientific Management Movement . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 23 Bureaucratic School . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 25 vii viii Contents AdministrativeRead MoreImpact of Print Media on Society10439 Words   |  42 Pagespatience in dealing with the statistically challenged, and Dr. Rufus Barfield, a researcher and brother in Christ, who literally took me by the hand and prayed with me and our wives in my church office when I really needed it.
